By using Digestoa you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the part about Digestoa being informational, not medical advice.

Using Digestoa

Digestoa gives you information about packaged foods — scores, verdicts, ingredient and exposure insights, and swap suggestions. You must be at least 16 to use it (or older if your country requires), and you agree to use it lawfully and only for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Not medical or nutritional advice

Digestoa is for general information only. Scores and exposure figures — including pesticides, heavy metals and microplastics — are estimates based on available data, product category and packaging, and may be incomplete or wrong. Nothing in the app is medical, dietary, or professional advice. Always check the actual product label for allergens and ingredients, and consult a qualified professional before making health decisions or if you have an allergy or medical condition.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions (Digestoa+)

Core scanning and scores are free. Digestoa+ unlocks deeper reports, compare mode and your long-term feel trends. Subscriptions are sold as auto-renewing monthly or yearly plans (a free trial may be offered on the yearly plan). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel anytime from your app-store account settings (App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we don't process payments directly.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping, reverse-engineering, automated bulk access, attempts to disrupt or break the service, or uploading unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse these terms.

Intellectual property

Digestoa, its name, logo and content are owned by us or our licensors. Product data is provided under the terms of its sources (for example, Open Food Facts under the Open Database License). You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision you make in reliance on the information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep all mandatory rights granted by the law of your country.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; we'll post the new version here and update the date above, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, where reasonably necessary.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Digestoa operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and nothing here removes those rights.
